Welcome to the Metro Atlanta Senior Softball League (MASSL). We are pleased to extend an invitation to you to join the organization. We support your interest in senior softball and are confident that you will find the MASSL an organization that generates a rewarding softball experience through organized league play and the camaraderie of its membership. In addition, it provides a channel to play traveling team senior softball for those who desire a higher level of competition. Our Tournament Teams continue to win regional and national tournaments.

Open practice sessions are now available during the off season (October through March) at Best Friend Park on Monday or Tuesday and Saturday mornings. Depending on the time of year, practices may start as early as 9:00 a.m. or as late as 11:00 am.

Over the past several years, the 150+ seniors registered in the league represented 12 Metro Atlanta area counties. The membership age ranged from 45 to 83 and the skill level of the membership had an equally wide span. Registration in league is available for men who turn forty-five (45) years of age and women who turn forty (40) years of age during the calendar year. Registration is normally accomplished during January and February for the Spring season and again during June and July for the Summer season. However, new members are welcome to apply for membership at any time.

Completion of a membership application and a release of liability and indemnification waiver along with payment of the combined annual Gwinnett Senior Softball (GSS) membership dues and MASSL registration fee is all that is required. After the registration has been completed, new members are permitted to participate in MASSL games as well as in the practice sessions generally held at Gwinnett County’s Best Friend Park.
