October 8, 2004 - Congratulations to Georgia Old South managed by Dave Foltz and Walt Taylor for winning the Gold Medal in the 60 Age Division at the Huntsmen World Senior Games in Saint George, UT on October 8. They beat the Pompano Beach Bums in the championship game. This win "capped off" a remarkable season with a final record for the year of 54 wins-16 losses.

October 8, 2004 - Congratulations to Doris Warpole and the Florida Spirits for winning the Silver Medal in the 55 Minor Division at the Huntsmen World Senior Games in Saint George, UT on October 9.

August 24, 2004 - Congratulations to Rick Prigmore and the Tremont Titons (80+ Majors) for winning the Senior Softball World Series in Des Moines, IA on August 24. They beat Arizona Desert Storm in the championship game 17-16.

- Congratulations to the Georgia Nuggets (60 AA) managed by Ed Davis for winning the International Senior Softball Championship in Manassas, VA. Pete Mariolis, Tom Simms, Bill Bigham, Jim Smith and Mack Roper were selected as All Tournament players. Verlyn Hammond was named the AA Division's Most Valuable Player.

August 7, 2004 - Congratulations to Rick Prigmore and the Tremont Titons (80+ Majors) for winning the SPA National Championship in Plano, Texas. Rick was selected for the Senior Softball World Championship All Star Team.
