The Metro Atlanta Senior Softball League has Tournament Teams representing different age groups. These competitive teams travel outside of the Metro Atlanta area at least 3 or more times per year to participate in sanctioned Senior Softball tournaments. Players range in age from 50 to over 80. Players from MASSL also play on other Tournament Teams.

Information about 2010 Qualifying and Invitational Senior Tournaments can be found online at the Sanctioning Organizations web sites. The National Senior Softball Summit Ratings Committee determines each team's rating. The following organizations have agreed to adopt the team ratings: ASA, USSSA, ISA, LVSSA, NSA, SSUSA, SPA, ISSA/ISF and Huntsman World Senior Games.

November 4, 2010 - Congratulations to the 78+ Georgia Peaches Team managed by Jim Carr for winning the 2010 Kids & Cubs Senior Softball Tournament in St. Petersburg, FL.

October 31, 2010 - Congratulations to the IDC Team managed by Bill Grimes for coming in 2nd in the SPA Eastern Nationals Battle of the Beach 60 Division in Mrytle Beach, SC.

October 3, 2010 - Congratulations to the IDC Team managed by Bill Grimes for winning the SPA Winter Nationals 60 Division in Pensacola, FL.

September 5, 2010 - Congratulations to the Georgia Classics managed by Jim Nisewonger and Harry Harrison for winning the SPA Nationals 70 Division in Dalton, GA.

August 29, 2010 - Congratulations to the Georgia Longshots managed by Howard Wilcox for coming in 2nd in the 50 Division - Heartland Softball Assn National Championship, Chattanooga, TN.

August 2, 2010 - Congratulations to the Georgia Nuggets managed by Ed Davis for coming in 2nd in the 70 Division and to IDC (Ideal Development Corp) managed by Bill Grimes for coming in 2nd in the 60 Division - NSA World Series, Gadsden, AL.

June 26, 2010 - Congratulations to the Georgia Classics managed by Jim Nisewonger and Harry Harrison for winning the SPA Peach State Classic 70 Division in Marietta, GA. Congratulations also to the Georgia Nuggets managed by Ed Davis for coming in 2nd.

June 26, 2010 - Congratulations to IDC (Ideal Development Corp) managed by Bill Grimes and Wayne Henck for coming in 2nd in the SPA Peach State Classic 60 Division in Marietta, GA.

June 12, 2010 - League One Pitch Tournament - Congratulations to the Garden Plaza Yellow Jackets managed by Don Johnson for winning the 60+ league and to the Gold Team managed by Jerry Falce for winning the <60 league.

April, 2010 - Congratulations to the Georgia Nuggets managed by Ed Davis for winning the SPA Masters Classic 70 Division in Augusta, GA. The Nuggets went undefeated. Congratulations also to the Georgia Classics managed by Jim Nisewonger and Harry Harrison for coming in 2nd.
