The Metro Atlanta Senior Softball League has Tournament Teams representing different age groups. These competitive teams travel outside of the Metro Atlanta area at least 3 or more times per year to participate in sanctioned Senior Softball tournaments. Players range in age from 50 to over 80. Players from MASSL also play on other Tournament Teams.

Information about 2008 Qualifying and Invitational Senior Tournaments can be found online at the Sanctioning Organizations web sites. The National Senior Softball Summit Ratings Committee determines each team's rating. The following organizations have agreed to adopt the team ratings: ASA, USSSA, ISA, LVSSA, NSA, SSUSA, SPA, ISSA/ISF and Huntsman World Senior Games.

July 12, 2008 - Congratulations to the Georgia Nuggets managed by Ed Davis for winning the 65 Gold Division at the SPA Qualifier in Johnson City, TN.

June 29, 2008 - SPA Peach State Classic in Marietta, GA - Congratulations to the Georgia Classics 65s managed by Jim Nisewonger and Harry Harrison for winning the 65 AAA Gold Division and the Georgia Peaches managed by Charlie Blackburn for placing second in the 65 Division.

June 22, 2008 - Congratulations to the Georgia Nuggets managed by Ed Davis for winning the 65 B Division at the ISA World Cup in Salem, VA.

June 1, 2008 - SPA Regional in Burlington, NC - Congratulations to the Southern Sixties managed by Mack Roper for placing second in the 60+ AA Gold Division and Georgia Classics 65s managed by Jim Nisewonger and Harry Harrison for placing second in the 65+ AAA Gold Division in second.

May 18, 2008 - SPA Regional in Pensacola, FL - In 65+ AAA play, Congratulations to the Georgia Nuggets managed by Ed Davis won the Gold Division and Georgia Classics 65s managed by Jim Nisewonger and Harry Harrison came in second.
